Prolongedabsenceblog

So apparently school + laziness = no posts for over a month.

Anyways, this is about 5 weeks old but BOF
has some Joker concept art.
BOF = Beast.

And this is probably even older.
MTV (barf) has an article about Ledger's Joker diary.
We should probably give a disclaimer though - to MTV an article about Ledger's Joker diary really means an article about Grant Morrison talking about his Joker stories (not that Morrison and his Joker stories aren't noteworthy, we just really want to read about the Joker diary).
MTV = jokes since 98.

In all seriousness though, today is/was the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
[Insert respectful and intelligent sentiment here].

There's No Going Back

The Dark Knight had its forth consecutive highest weekend gross (Hollywood.com).
That's domination.

And The Dark Knight is now the highest grossing comicbook movie ever (Box Office Mojo)
... like we didn't pretty much already know that.

The guy at The Movie Blog has an interesting article about why Heath Ledger can be replaced as The Joker.
At first it seems ludicrous, but he does make some good points.

And Finally, MTV (Yeah we know...) gives us some of industry writers opinions on who they think should be the next villain.
The only question you have to ask yourselves is "With exception to past Batman writers, do I really care what they think?"

You've Changed Things... Forever

The Dark Knight is still at 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Someone has an issue with Batman's raspy growl
of a voice (NEWSarama).
Douches.

You can vote The Dark Knight as your choice for this years best summer movie over at SodaHead.
